“But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And shall begin to smite [his] fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for [him], and in an hour that he is not aware of,” (Mt 24:48-50 AV)

In our heart and by our actions and words we may declare that the Lord is delaying His coming. By our influence we let others believe Jesus delayes His coming. Earthly passions, corrupt thoughts, take possession of the mind. We eat and drink with the drunken, unites with the world in pleasure seeking.

We may beat our brethren, accusing them or condemning them. We may mingle with the world.
If this is so the Lord shall come in an hour that we are not aware of...
